Jodi moved to Klamath Falls in 1977 with her husband, George, whom she met while working on a pipeline in Alaska. They have two daughters, Amanda and Courtney, who also make their home here with their families. Being born and raised in snowy/rainy Alaska, “City of Sunshine” Klamath Falls is Jodi’s kind of place!
They have five grandchildren who are very active in 4-H and FFA, along with horse activities and sports. George and Jodi enjoy following the “circuit” to cheer them on in everything from rodeos to showing their animals at county fair.
Previously, Jodi was the Asst. Executive Officer of the Home Builders Association for 20+ years, during which time she also started her insurance career. Many members of Home Builders are her valued friends and also clients of Mick Insurance Agency, which she believes speaks to Mick Insurance’s reputation for integrity and trustworthiness.
Jodi served for 15 years on the KCC Foundation Board and spent many years actively involved with Henley Boosters. She is also a member of the Insurance Professionals of Klamath Falls. Jodi enjoys spending time hunting deer and elk with her husband, riding quads in the Oregon desert, cooking, hiking, and reading.
She thoroughly enjoys helping clients with their health insurance options, especially in the Medicare arena. “There is a lot of satisfaction in helping a client navigate the ‘Medicare maze!'” Jodi says. She has always maintained the philosophy that she will do what is right for the client, not what is in the company’s best interest. Jodi wants to be able to pass someone on the street, look them straight in the eye with a smile, knowing she offered the very best options for their health insurance based on their personal needs.
